A Hidden Agenda to defame Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu
With reference to the news being telecast in many channels today i.e.“Raju Chandak shot, Asaram Bapu and two devotees suspected”, it is to be clarified that Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu or any of his disciples have nothing to do with this bullet episode. Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti opposes any kind of violent incidents in social life.


Suspicion on Pujya Bapuji and his two disciples by Raju Chandak (who has a fierce animosity towards Bapuji) is entirely false, baseless and biased. Bapuji’s disciples do not believe in any kind of violence itself, and this kind of an ambush is way out of question. So, Raju Chandak raising the needle of suspicion on Bapuji and his sadhaks, is a part of a well-planned conspiracy to falsely implicate them in this case.

It is significant to note that in the early news, only two devotees of Bapu were suspected by Raju Chaandak, but later on, the police associated Bapuji with this episode by imposing section 120(B) on him. Sections 114 & 307 have been imposed on two unknown people.This clearly exposes the hidden agenda of the Gujarat government to defame the revered saint of Hindus, Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu.


In this situation, we do not have any hope of justice from the Gujarat's Police, Government and Court. We, therefore, appeal for immediate investigation of the two episodes – firing on Raju Chandak & the police vandalism on Ashram – by CBI instead of the Gujarat police, so that the true criminals can be uncovered.

Actual Facts Regarding the Land Dispute of Sant Shri Asaramji Ashram, Ahmedabad

This is to clarify that Ashram has acquired (bought) the following land over the years by paying the appropriate price to the government based on different orders:

There is a Sabarmati River bank in the south of the Ashram, whose entire land is lying open. There has been NO construction of any kind on this land.


The allegation that a land area of 51101 square meter along the river bank is in illegal possession of the Ashram is totally baseless, false & in complete deviation of the actual facts. Ashram has NEVER been in possession of this land. It is only used for the Satsang program one or two times in a year during the Satsang Shivir (Spiritual Camp) for three or four days.

The allegation of construction over the 547 Square Meter land area along the river bank is also completely false. The reality is that there is the Sabarmati River along the land, and in order to prevent the soil erosion, a retaining wall has been constructed on it. This retaining wall could not be constructed above due to the hillock on the land. This does not count as construction work & neither does it fall in the category of infringement.


There is also an allegation that there is a water-bore alongside the river bank. The water-bore comes under daily public convenience needs and is hardly 2 meters from our boundary towards the river side. A provision for this is available in the Government Act and this cannot come under the category of infringement. Yet, in order to prevent the dispute from aggravating further, we have removed it from that place.


It is also alleged that Ashram has illegally acquired and done constructions on the 15000 Square Meter area of land adjoining the Gurukul. This is also a totally false allegation. The reality is that the Gurukul Trust had asked two years ago, and prior to that, the Ashram Trust had asked for allotment of 12000 Square Meter land area. And each time, the Village Patwari has written in his report that this land is lying open, except that there is a drain in the west direction, on the slope of which, pitching has been done by constructing a retaining wall in order to prevent soil erosion. Further, trees of Amla (Indian Gooseberry), Tulsi & Peepal have been planted for environmental purification, which does not come under the category of infringement.


In order to avoid baseless allegations, we have done separate wire fencing on our land.



The remaining 3000 Square Meter land area is lying totally open on the river side, and we never had a possession over it, nor do we have it now.

Due to the jealousy of one newspaper, allegations were malevolently initiated against us under pressure, which were further incited by other media agencies. This fact is understood better than us by the officers of the Revenue Department.

All our construction work is ONLY on the land that has been allotted to us till date, and there are NO constructions outside it. This is clearly evident from all the photographs.

सकता है उसमे क्या है साईं ने दीपक चोरासिया से उल्टा पूछा ! नारायण साईं ने
कहा की आश्रम को बदनाम किया जा रहा है पर हमारे साधक मजबूती से आश्रम के साथ
जुड़े हुए है रोज सत्संग प्रवचन हो रहे है ! एक सवाल के जवाब ने नारायण साईं ने
कहा की आज कल दुसरे के सुख में दुखी होने वालो के कारन ही सबसे बड़ी समस्या है !

आज शाम ४ बजे गुजरात सरकार ने मध्यप्रदेश हाई कोर्ट में दिए अपने हलफ नामे में
कहा है की आश्रम और नारायण साईं के खिलाफ कोई सबूत उनके पास नही है ! नारायण
साईं की अग्रीम जमानत याचिका की सुनवाई के दौरान गुजरात सरकार ने अपने बयान में
कहा है की सरकार की और से जो जांच आश्रम में हुई थी उसमे कोई भी आपत्ति जनक नही
पाई गई है ! इसलिए नारायण साईं की याचिका पर मध्यप्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने कहा है की
उनको अग्रीम जमानत लेने की कोई आवश्यकता नही है ! क्युकी आश्रम के खिलाफ कोई
सबूत मिला ही नही है
नारायण साईं ने कहा है की ये सत्य की जीत है ! कल ही साईं ने रात में कहा था
सत्य परेशां हो सकता है पराजीत नही आज का ये फेसला सत्य की जीत है !

• Where was this association called ‘Jagega…’ asleep before the incident? Where did it suddenly appear from after the incident? This too is a question.
• Who is making these attempts to repeatedly destroy the calm of peaceful Gujarat?

My sensible and intelligent brothers and sisters! Just think about these issues. You will arrive at the conclusion that this is a well-planned conspiracy. The above-mentioned saints, who are being accused, are responsible for opposing the negatives in Western culture, which degrade society. They make people aware of the losses involved in consuming alcohol, having bad habits and following wasteful fashionable ways. They make public the dangers involved in consuming cold drinks and other unhealthy food items. They oppose religious conversion, do social service, lead people onto the path of truth, spread peace and happiness, give people a spiritual bent of mind and make them patriotic.
By accusing these innocent, respect-worthy saints and sages, conspirators are trying to create a distance between them and society. So many of our own people, without knowing the actual truth, end up supporting and helping these anti-religious forces that are enemies of the country.
Those who are promoting bandhs, taking out rallies, tearing posters, those who attacked countless disciples who came on GuruPurnima day to Amdavad with stones and looted them, why aren’t they taking out bandhs for the 60 harmless people (there were 8 innocent children also) who were killed in the bomb-blasts?
If everyone is saddened by the deaths of children studying in the Gurukul, then even before the verdict of the court is out, why are false, baseless accusations being put on Sant Asaramji Maharaj? We all have to understand that behind this act of killing the children, is a well-planned conspiracy to destroy national peace and to promote infighting within society.
May we all oppose the conspirators and support and respect these innocent saints through these difficult times.
Whatever is being shown and spread by the media is not the truth. We people have known the truth, understood the truth and examined it with firmness and thoroughness. All the accusations against Sant Asaramji Maharaj are absolutely baseless. They are only rumours. This is a big political conspiracy intended to destroy the peace within Hindus. Please inform the conspirators that we Hindus are all one. Hindus will not fight amongst themselves.

Truth behind ashram conspiracy

Saprem Sadar Pranam to Pujya Gurudev! In the recent unsettling wake of the unfortunate series of events regarding our beloved Ashram, the natural questions that arise in anybody's minds - especially in those of Pujya Gurudev's faithful followers may be: What really happened? Why did it happen or how could it happen? So, what should we do? How should we handle this situation?
These questions may be objectively answered at two levels; one material and the other spiritual. This message is to consider responses to the questions in a series of facts presented here.
In early July, two precious children from the Ahmedabad Ashram's Gurukul died in a drowning accident in the nearby Holy Sabarmati river. This was an inconceivably sad incident which moved the hearts of all Ashram Sadhaks. Contrary to the biased reports unfairly publicized by a majorly opinionated section of the media, the Ashram had been taking tireless measures all along to get to the bottom of this horrible incident. Ashram's efforts to this end are well-documented and were made openly available to all for in-depth scrutiny. As shocking as it can be, in late July two more just as precious children died in the Chhindwada Ashram's Gurukul. This was beyond comprehension of any Ashramwasi, but it had to be accepted and dealt with.
No words ever spoken or written by any Sadhak will ever describe the unfathomable pain felt at the core of the hearts of Pujya Bapuji and His followers on account of these sudden and sad deaths of four innocent children. The cause of deaths of the Chhindwada children has now been determined making it evident that no Ashram Sadhaks had any connection with either of those, just as in the case of the Ahmedabad children. This does not downplay the sad losses, however, it absolves the Ashram of the mightily wrongful allegations of the unscrupulous section of media attempting to falsely connect the Ashram as having essentially murdered the children! There is not one spec of doubt in the minds of Pujya Bapuji's Sadhaks worldwide that there is a premeditated and carefully crafted conspiracy at work, especially given the way sudden attacks were launched alongwith vandalism and bullying in Ahmedabad during the most sacred Guru-Poonam celebration. The defensible facts and figures related to those events have been posted on the Ashram's website at http://www.ashram.org and all are strongly encouraged to frequently visit the site to obtain first-hand information updates rather than naively relying upon the untrustworthy media coverage.
For a long time the Ashram has been braving much opposition from some political and non-Hindu fractions in response to Pujya Bapuji's direct, vocal and fearless championing of India, her glorious culture, and the profundity of Sanatan Dharma (the "Original Duty"). Ill-wishers of India and her vibrant heritage have commonly seen Pujya Bapuji as the biggest threat to their ulterior motive of vitiating Hinduism. It seems that certain such negative elements may have taken opportunistic disadvantage of the most difficult and trying moment for the organization and launched a terrorizing attack with the aid of traitor-sold section of the media to serve their political and pseudo-religious objectives. This is the Ashram's belief based on numerous experiences and all its supporters - literally tens of millions in number, across the globe - stand fully behind it.
While the Rajokari (Delhi) satsang was in progress, Pujya Bapuji's deep pain upon receiving this horrific news was self-evident and squeezed the pining hearts of devotees. There was not one God-loving soul present without wet eyes at that time. As a matter of fact, Pujya Gurudev was so intensely grieved at this, that the moment He heard about the second death He publicly resolved to fast indefinitely (Anna-Tyaag) as a non-violent means of insisting for the truth to be brought out (Satyagraha). As of this writing, the cause of death of the second set of children has been officially identified. Consequently, Pujya Bapuji has mercifully accepted food while urging Sadhaks to intensify prayers to The Almighty with ceaseless chanting of the "Om Hrim Om" mantra to enable truth, inner strength and all-pervading peace. Hundreds of Ashrams and thousands of Samities (Sadhak-groups) worldwide have begun prayers and silent meditation by lighting diyas as vigil to commemorate the four beautiful souls lost in such a short period of time. Tens of thousands of Pujya Bapuji's followers in all major regions of the world stand-by to help the situation in any constructive manner possible.
Spiritually, the media's injustice against Ashram and false accusations against its Sadhaks do not come as a surprise. Through times immemorial, not one Saint and even Avatar (incarnations such as Sri Ramji and Sri Krishna Bhagwan) was spared by the ruthless public at large. History is replete with a plethora of examples citing how the sanctity of men of God has been brutalized by evil societal elements. Sant Kabir, Guru Nanak Dev, Sant Tukaram, Sant Eknath, Sri Gaurang Prabhu, Meerabai; as well as popular saints alive in India at the present time have all become victims of malicious "kuprachar".
The truth never fails to prevail in the end though..! Truth has always risen to the top in the past and so it shall in the future too. In the case of Pujya Bapuji too, the truth shall emerge - never mind the unprecedented level of effort put up to suppress it. However, accepting this disturbance in the equilibrium as "Daivi-Vidhan" (Divine Will) for the present moment, us Sadhaks must remain composed and self-restrained while relentlessly rejecting false accusations. Following in the peaceful foot-steps of our Great Master, we must display unperturbed temperament (Samata) while the neutral world judges us based on every move we make. We should continue to genuinely sympathize with the families who lost their beautiful children and be ever-prepared to help them and others as best as we can. We must continue to acknowledge the incidents and be sincerely sorry that those happened, no matter what the cause. We should be vigilant and fiercly guard against any mistakes in the future. We should be prepared to tirelessly explain our side of the story but never try to oversell it, for there is no need for it as truth is on our side! Since we trust for the whole and complete truth to come out shortly, we should be fearless like our Guru Maharaj.
We must follow our Gurudev's instructions and maximize our prayerful chanting of the "Om Hrim Om" mantra for sustained peace of the departed souls, inner strength for their loving families, and more tolerance for ourselves. If Guruji says that the Mantra will protect us all, then it will - where is the doubt?
For the last forty years Pujya Bapuji has upheld Truth, Non-Violence, Service, Sacrifice, Self-Restraint, Humility, Moderation and above all, Love of God as our core values. He has been going around the country practically non-stop in order to inculcate these virtues into the masses through enlightening Satsangs regardless of any distinction amongst His audience. Since accepting Pujya Bapuji as our Revered Guru most of us have experienced a dramatic paradigm-shift in our behavioral pattern, an inner transofrmation away from outer matter and migrating toward the inner Spirit. This is a priceless gift that only an exalted Mahatma can impart to others. Having such a Maha-Purush in our lives in the form of Pujya Bapuji, why should we loose our balance if the ride has gotten a bit rough for a short-while?
We have not committed a crime or purposely wronged anyone. Why should we then not stand tall holding our heads high and walk straight, gracefully facing the calamity befallen upon us? Beware brothers and sisters - this is a test of our faith - now is the time to remember what our Swami has taught us, "Kadam Apne Aagey Badhaata Chalaaja..." remember? Today we must remind each other what Bapuji often quotes, "Gum ki Andheri Raat Mei, Dil Ko Na Bekaraar Kar - Subah Jaroor Aayegi, Subah Ka Intazaar Kar"... We must hang in there never losing our Shraddha but further strengthening it, "Dheeraj Sabka Mitra Hai, Kari Kamaai Mat Khoy". For countless lives we have been struggling desperately to collect precious tiny little droplets of Shraddha, Faith in God, in the fragile vases of our seeking hearts. We must protect it at any cost, never allowing anybody to rob us of it. So long as we have faith and hope, so long as we have Guru and Govind, nothing and nobody can deter us from the righteous path to God as shown by Pujya Bapuji.
Dear Sadhaks, contemplate deeply upon this message. With a sincere mind just think about the absurdity of this ridiculous campaign put forth by opposers of our noble purpose. Contrast those accusations against the mountain of good work that the Ashram has uninterrubtedly performed without tooting our own horn ever! Judge the situation from your hearts based on your own experience with the Ashram, fellow Sadhaks and Pujya Bapuji. You do not need the pretentious side of media to paint any juicy picture for you. Simply meditate for a few short minutes to reach in the deep quietude of your own soul and the answer shall come - loud and clear - that this is a rumorous scandal, a sensational stunt staged to overthrow the growing prowess and popularity of today's Lok-Sant Sri Asaramji Bapu.

Our Merciful Guru has compassionately led us on the path of worship of God, so we must remain even-minded and ever-cheerful; never frustrated, never depressed. Our Guru is Samarth and the All-Knowing Lord is with us. So fear not, all will be set right in time. Goodness always prevails in the end. With us too, Justice shall be served.

ऐसा कुप्रचार किया जा रहा हैं कि पूज्य संत श्री आसारामजी बापू वशीकरण विद्या आजमाते है l आश्रम वशीकरण की बात स्वीकार नही करता l जिस प्रकार कोयल पक्षी अपनी मीठी वाणी से जगत को वश में कर लेता है, उसी प्रकार पूज्य बापूजी के श्रीमुख से प्रवाहित गीता, भागवत, रामायण, उपनिषद्, षडदर्शन एवं वेदों के उपदेशों का अमृत जनमानस को उन के सत्संग में खींच लाता हैं l आभामंडल विशेषज्ञ ने इस रहस्य का अध्ययन करके बताया कि उनकी आभा इतनी शक्तिशाली और व्यापक है कि उसके दिव्य प्रभाव से लोग उनकी ओर खींचे चले आते हैं l स्वामी विवेकानंद और स्वामी रामतीर्थ जैसे महापुरुषों का व्यक्तित्व भी ऐसे भगवदीय आकर्षण से संपन्न था l श्रीकृष्ण के बन्सीनाद से प्रभावित होकर पशु-पक्षी और मानव सुध-बुध भूल के वशीभूत होकर उनकी ओर खींचे चले आते थे l पूज्य बापुजी के श्रीमुख से उन्हीं भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की ‘गीता’ के सत्संग की वर्षा होती हो, वहाँ लाखों-करोडों साधक-श्रध्दालु खिंचकर आयें, तो कुप्रचार करनेवाले लोग ‘वशीकरण’ कहते हों तो यह वशीकरण भारतीय संस्कृति का है, भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का है, महापुरुषों का है l ऐसे ज्ञानोपदेश के रसपान के जादु को रोकने हेतु पिछले पाँच हजार वर्षों में इस देश पर हीन वृत्ति के लोगों ने, विधर्मियों ने और विदेशी आक्रांताओं ने हमले किये परंतु वे सफल नहीं हो पाये l

आश्रम के विरुध्द कुप्रचार किया जा रहा है कि बालकों की बलि चढायी गयी होगी l यह बात इतनी घृणास्पद व दु:खद है कि इससे भारत भर में फैले हुए सैकडों आश्रमों एवं करोडों साधकों व श्रध्दालुओं को आघात पहुँचा है l बापूजी के सत्संग में आने के बाद और दीक्षा लेने के बाद शिष्य-भक्त मांस, मछली व अंडे जैसे पदार्थ न खाने की प्रतिज्ञा लेते हैं और परंपरागत रूप से पशुबलि देनेवाले कई समूहों को ऐसे पशुबलि न चढाने के लिए समझाया जाता है l ऐसी परिस्थिति में बालकों की बलि की घृणास्पद बात फैलानेवाले आश्रम द्वारा चलाये जा रहे भारतीय सनातन संस्कृति के प्रचार-प्रसार के यज्ञ में हड्डियाँ डालने जैसी प्रवृत्ति करा रहे हैं l जो धर्महित, देशहित, समाजहित और हमारी संस्कृति के हित के लिए बंद होनी चाहिएl

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण को ख़त्म कराने के लिए कंस मैदान में आ गया था, भगवान बुध्द व महावीर को हैरान, परेशान, बदनाम करने के लिए उनके समकालीन निंदकों ने समस्त दाँव-पेच अपनाए थे l जिन भी अवतारों, महापुरुषों ने वैदिक सनातन संस्कृति के प्रचारक व प्रहरी का काम किया है या समाज-सेवा , धर्मसेवा व समाज-सुधार का बिगुल फूँका है उनकी लोकप्रियता से भयभीत होकर असामाजिक तत्वों ने उन्हें बदनाम करने में, सताने में कोई कमी नहीं रखी l मंसूर को शूली पर चढाया गया, जीसस को क्रोंस पर चढाया गया, सुकरात को जहर दिया गया, मुहम्मद पैगम्बर को मक्का से मदीना हिजरत करने के लिए विवश किया गया - इतिहास ऐसे सैंकडों दृष्टान्तो से भरा पड़ा है l ऐसे में पूज्य आसारामजी बापू, जिनके करोड़ों अनुयायी हैं, को बदनाम करने के लिए विभिन्न रूप से स्वार्थी तत्व मैदान में आए हैं तो इसमें कोई आश्चर्य नहीं हैं l

आश्रम द्वारा साल में लाखों मरीजों की चिकित्सा - सेवा की जाती है l लाखों पिछडे, आदिवासियों, वंचितों, गरीबों, विधवाओं, अनाथों को भंडारों के द्वारा अन्न, वस्त्र, बर्तन, आदि का दान किया जाता है l भारतभर में अनेक स्थानों पर लाखों लोगों को नि:शुल्क भोजन व हजारों लोगों को राशनकार्डों द्वारा प्रतिमाह नि:शुल्क अनाज वितरण की व्यवस्था की गई है l आश्रम द्वारा 'पातंजल योगविज्ञान' अनुरूप अनेक तालिमबध्द प्रशिक्षकों के द्बारा सैकड़ों शिबिरों के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को मार्गदर्शन दिया जा रहा है l बड़ी संख्या में विद्वान्, वैज्ञानिक, न्यायाधीश, पत्रकार, सांसद, विधायक, मंत्री एवं देश का प्रबुध्द वर्ग पूज्य बापूजी के सत्संग - मार्गदर्शन से लाभान्वित होकर अपने को धन्य कर रहा है l

वाघेला परिवार के दो कुलदीपकों के आकस्मिक देहावसान विषयक उनके परिजनों को जितना आघात लगा है, उतना ही आघात और दुःख बापूजी सहीत समग्र आश्रम परिवार को हुआ है l इस सम्पूर्ण घटनाक्रम के विषय में जाँच चल रही है l आश्रम किसी भी न्यायिक जाँच के लिए पुरी तरह सहयोग देगा और किसी भी उच्चस्तरीय एजेंसी द्वारा जाँच का स्वागत करता है तथा इस घटना को लेकर कोई टिप्पणी करके न्यायिक प्रक्रिया में अवरोधरूप नहीं बनना चाहता है l

आश्रम द्वारा पुलिस व प्रचार - माध्यमों के समक्ष पुरी पारदर्शिता रखते हुए पूरी जानकारियाँ एवं सहयोग दिया गया l पुलिस की जाँच प्रक्रिया चालु है, निर्णय अभी तक घोषित नहीं हुआ फिर भी संस्था को गुनहगार मानते हुए देश के कोने कोने से आए हुए निर्दोष भगवत्प्रेमी भक्तजनों पर कुछ असामाजिक तत्वों ने अपने स्वार्थ के लिए किराए के गुंडे लाकर जिस तरह से पथराव, बेरहमी से मारपीट, बहनों के साथ बीभत्स व्यवहार किया, उन के वाहन जलाए, उनकी धार्मिक स्वतन्त्रता का हनन किया, उसकी हम कड़े-से कड़े शब्दों में भर्त्सना करते हैं l निर्दोष, मासूम बालकों की चिताओं पर अपने क्षुद्र स्वार्थ की रोटियाँ सेकनेवालो के षडयंत्र की भी उच्चस्तरीय जांच होनी चाहिए और दोषीयों को कड़ी- से कड़ी सजा दी जानी चाहिए l

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण को ख़त्म कराने के लिए कंस मैदान में आ गया था, भगवान बुध्द व महावीर को हैरान, परेशान, बदनाम करने के लिए उनके समकालीन निंदकों ने समस्त दाँव-पेच अपनाए थे l जिन भी अवतारों, महापुरुषों ने वैदिक सनातन संस्कृति के प्रचारक व प्रहरी का काम किया है या समाज-सेवा , धर्मसेवा व समाज-सुधार का बिगुल फूँका है उनकी लोकप्रियता से भयभीत होकर असामाजिक तत्वों ने उन्हें बदनाम करने में, सताने में कोई कमी नहीं रखी l मंसूर को शूली पर चढाया गया, जीसस को क्रोंस पर चढाया गया, सुकरात को जहर दिया गया, मुहम्मद पैगम्बर को मक्का से मदीना हिजरत करने के लिए विवश किया गया - इतिहास ऐसे सैंकडों दृष्टान्तो से भरा पड़ा है l ऐसे में पूज्य आसारामजी बापू, जिनके करोड़ों अनुयायी हैं, को बदनाम करने के लिए विभिन्न रूप से स्वार्थी तत्व मैदान में आए हैं तो इसमें कोई आश्चर्य नहीं हैं l

आश्रम के विरुध्द कुप्रचार किया जा रहा है कि बालकों की बलि चढायी गयी होगी l यह बात इतनी घृणास्पद व दु:खद है कि इससे भारत भर में फैले हुए सैकडों आश्रमों एवं करोडों साधकों व श्रध्दालुओं को आघात पहुँचा है l बापूजी के सत्संग में आने के बाद और दीक्षा लेने के बाद शिष्य-भक्त मांस, मछली व अंडे जैसे पदार्थ न खाने की प्रतिज्ञा लेते हैं और परंपरागत रूप से पशुबलि देनेवाले कई समूहों को ऐसे पशुबलि न चढाने के लिए समझाया जाता है l ऐसी परिस्थिति में बालकों की बलि की घृणास्पद बात फैलानेवाले आश्रम द्वारा चलाये जा रहे भारतीय सनातन संस्कृति के प्रचार-प्रसार के यज्ञ में हड्डियाँ डालने जैसी प्रवृत्ति करा रहे हैं l जो धर्महित, देशहित, समाजहित और हमारी संस्कृति के हित के लिए बंद होनी चाहिएl

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण को ख़त्म कराने के लिए कंस मैदान में आ गया था, भगवान बुध्द व महावीर को हैरान, परेशान, बदनाम करने के लिए उनके समकालीन निंदकों ने समस्त दाँव-पेच अपनाए थे l जिन भी अवतारों, महापुरुषों ने वैदिक सनातन संस्कृति के प्रचारक व प्रहरी का काम किया है या समाज-सेवा , धर्मसेवा व समाज-सुधार का बिगुल फूँका है उनकी लोकप्रियता से भयभीत होकर असामाजिक तत्वों ने उन्हें बदनाम करने में, सताने में कोई कमी नहीं रखी l मंसूर को शूली पर चढाया गया, जीसस को क्रोंस पर चढाया गया, सुकरात को जहर दिया गया, मुहम्मद पैगम्बर को मक्का से मदीना हिजरत करने के लिए विवश किया गया - इतिहास ऐसे सैंकडों दृष्टान्तो से भरा पड़ा है l ऐसे में पूज्य आसारामजी बापू, जिनके करोड़ों अनुयायी हैं, को बदनाम करने के लिए विभिन्न रूप से स्वार्थी तत्व मैदान में आए हैं तो इसमें कोई आश्चर्य नहीं हैं l

व्यक्ति की देह से भी उसकी ईश्वर, अपनी संस्कृति तथा धर्म के प्रति श्रध्दा कीमती है l आज यूरोप, अमेरिका व रशिया का श्रध्दाविहिन समाज विनाश की और धकेला जा रहा है l ऐसे समय में कठोर परिश्रम के बाद करोड़ों व्यक्तियों के ह्रदय में धर्म, संस्कृति ओर राष्ट्रहित के लिए संतो ने पैदा की हुयी श्रध्दा को अपने तुच्छ अंहकार की पूर्ति के लिए , क्षुद्र स्वार्थ के लिए तोड़ना, यह लाखों मानवों की ह्त्या करने के समान माना जायेगा और ऐसा महापाप करनेवाले तत्वों को ईश्वर माफ नहीं करते हैं - इतिहास साक्षी है l

आश्रम के भक्तजन बाल संस्कार केन्द्र चलाते हैं, संकीर्तन यात्राओं के द्वारा जनजागृति करते हैं, गरीबों में भंडारों के द्वारा उन्हें अनाज - कपडे तथा जीवनावश्यक वस्तुओं का वितरण करते हैं, युवाधन सुरक्षा अभियान चलाते हैं, विद्यार्थी उज्जवल भविष्य निर्माण शिबिरों का आयोजन करते हैं, व्यसनमुक्ति का यज्ञ चलाते हैं, मांसाहार का निषेध करते हैं l आश्रम द्वारा ऐसी समाज- कल्याण (सोशल वेलफेअर ) की, सर्वहितकारी ( पब्लिक इन्ट्रेस्ट की ) सेवाप्रवृत्तियाँ होती हैं l आश्रम के एक एक कोने , एक एक वृक्ष, एक एक कमरे का उपयोग सभी जातिवालों के लिए खुला है l

आश्रम द्वारा साल में लाखों मरीजों की चिकित्सा - सेवा की जाती है l लाखों पिछडे, आदिवासियों, वंचितों, गरीबों, विधवाओं, अनाथों को भंडारों के द्वारा अन्न, वस्त्र, बर्तन, आदि का दान किया जाता है l भारतभर में अनेक स्थानों पर लाखों लोगों को नि:शुल्क भोजन व हजारों लोगों को राशनकार्डों द्वारा प्रतिमाह नि:शुल्क अनाज वितरण की व्यवस्था की गई है l आश्रम द्वारा 'पातंजल योगविज्ञान' अनुरूप अनेक तालिमबध्द प्रशिक्षकों के द्बारा सैकड़ों शिबिरों के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को मार्गदर्शन दिया जा रहा है l बड़ी संख्या में विद्वान्, वैज्ञानिक, न्यायाधीश, पत्रकार, सांसद, विधायक, मंत्री एवं देश का प्रबुध्द वर्ग पूज्य बापूजी के सत्संग - मार्गदर्शन से लाभान्वित होकर अपने को धन्य कर रहा है l

भक्तों की विशाल संख्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस वर्ष देश के सात स्थानों पर गुरुपूर्णिमा महोत्सव का आयोजन किया गया था ताकि लोगों को परिश्रम न पड़े l हर जगह पूज्य बापूजी द्वारा यह घोषणा की गयी की 'चीज-वास्तु, रुपया-पैसा, दान नहीं चाहिए, लेकिन किसी भी पार्टी को वोट का दान जरुर करो l सभी पार्टिया मेरी हैं, मैं सब का हूँ l जैसे सूर्य सबका, चाँद सबका ऐसे ही बापूजी सभीके l'

सभी पार्टियों के नगरसेवक, विधायक, सांसद और मंत्री बापूजी के पास आते हैं, बापूजी का आशीर्वाद पाते हैं और सफल हो जाते हैं l बापूजी के करोड़ों- करोड़ों श्रोता हैं l गुरुपूर्णिमा पर्व पर अपनी श्रध्दा - भक्ति अभिव्यक्त करने के लिए प्रत्येक स्थान में लाखों -लाखों श्रध्दालु भक्तों का मानव-समूह उमड़ पड़ा था l

आश्रम के बारे में भ्रामक प्रचार किया जा रहा हैं की आश्रम में तांत्रिक विद्या का प्रयोग होता है l इस बारेमें स्पष्ट किया जाता है कि आश्रम में न तो तांत्रिक विद्या का प्रयोग किया जाता है और न ही उसे समर्थन या सहयोग दिया जाता है l आश्रम ने गीता और वेदान्त में प्रशस्त कर्मयोग, ज्ञानयोग और भक्तियोग का मार्ग अपनाया है l आश्रम समाज और गरीब-गुरबों की सेवा द्वारा कर्मयोग, ध्यान द्वारा ज्ञानयोग, आत्मबोध और सर्वशक्तिमान एक ईश्वर की सम्पूर्ण शरणागति की साधना द्वारा भक्तियोग के प्रचार- प्रसार में रत है तथा सदाचरण द्वारा सर्वांगीण विकास के विचारों से ओतप्रोत है l इसका प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण पूज्य बापूजी का सत्संग है, जो एक खुली किताब है, जिसे गत अनेक वर्षों से आम जनता ऑडियो व वीडियो के माध्यमों से सुन व देख रही है l

पूज्य बापूजी ने केवल यूरोप, अमेरिका ही नहीं, अपितु पाकिस्थान में भी भारतीय संस्कृति की ध्वजा फहरायी है l वे पाकिस्थान के हृदयस्थल-समान सिंध प्रान्त के विभिन्न स्थानों में हजारो हिंदू और मुसलामानों के बिच भारत की वैदिक परंपरा एवं संत-सूफी परंपरा की सत्संग वर्षा करनेवाले लोकसंत हैं l पाकिस्थान के हिंदू- मुसलमान सभीने उनका सत्संग पाकर धन्यता का अनुभव किया l सन १८९३ में शिकागो में 'विश्वधर्म संसद' में स्वामी विवेकानंदजी ने भारतीय संस्कृति का प्रतिनिधित्व किया था, उसी प्रकार सन १९९३ में आयोजीत 'विश्वधर्म संसद' में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करके समग्र विश्व में देश का गौरव बढाया था l

उपर्युक्त परिस्थितियों में जब तक गुजरात एवं देश की आम जनता कुप्रचार से गुमराह हुए बिना, दूध का दूध और पानी का पानी करने के लिए कटिबध्द न हो, तब तक संतो को सताने, हमारी संस्कृति को मिटाने, हिंदू-हिंदू को लड़ाने के लिए ये षडयंत्र चलते रहेंगे l

वाघेला परिवार के दो कुलदीपकों के आकस्मिक देहावसान विषयक उनके परिजनों को जितना आघात लगा है, उतना ही आघात और दुःख बापूजी सहीत समग्र आश्रम परिवार को हुआ है l इस सम्पूर्ण घटनाक्रम के विषय में जाँच चल रही है l आश्रम किसी भी न्यायिक जाँच के लिए पुरी तरह सहयोग देगा और किसी भी उच्चस्तरीय एजेंसी द्वारा जाँच का स्वागत करता है तथा इस घटना को लेकर कोई टिप्पणी करके न्यायिक प्रक्रिया में अवरोधरूप नहीं बनना चाहता है l

आश्रम द्वारा पुलिस व प्रचार - माध्यमों के समक्ष पुरी पारदर्शिता रखते हुए पूरी जानकारियाँ एवं सहयोग दिया गया l पुलिस की जाँच प्रक्रिया चालु है, निर्णय अभी तक घोषित नहीं हुआ फिर भी संस्था को गुनहगार मानते हुए देश के कोने कोने से आए हुए निर्दोष भगवत्प्रेमी भक्तजनों पर कुछ असामाजिक तत्वों ने अपने स्वार्थ के लिए किराए के गुंडे लाकर जिस तरह से पथराव, बेरहमी से मारपीट, बहनों के साथ बीभत्स व्यवहार किया, उन के वाहन जलाए, उनकी धार्मिक स्वतन्त्रता का हनन किया, उसकी हम कड़े-से कड़े शब्दों में भर्त्सना करते हैं l निर्दोष, मासूम बालकों की चिताओं पर अपने क्षुद्र स्वार्थ की रोटियाँ सेकनेवालो के षडयंत्र की भी उच्चस्तरीय जांच होनी चाहिए और दोषीयों को कड़ी- से कड़ी सजा दी जानी चाहिए l

पूज्य बापूजी ने कहा कि अमदावाद के लोग मुझे अच्छी तरह से पहेचानते हैं l अमदावाद के लोग सज्जन व अच्छे हैं, उनको बदनाम नहीं होने दिया जाय l किराए के आदमी लाकर असामाजिक तत्वों द्वारा बदनियती से यहाँ साजिश कराई गई है l भगवान सबका मंगल करें l आप भी खुश रहें, सुखी रहें व दूसरों को भी खुश करें, सुखी रखें l
